If i have to guess, i think the answer is simpler and somewhat more painful than people care to admit I would have to take a look at the contract but i don't really think Haybert is the issue, unless he specifically AND willingly created conflicts back in the day which we would definitely know of since that type of move requires actual tribunal work. Lambert is definitely not an Intellectual Propery of Haybert so that's out of the question. When you hire external commercial people, they do the job they have to do and as long as they are properly credited and have no "Legal Conflicts" there are no more ties between the two parts since the contract would be finished. I work on the game industry and this could be a logical explanation, but it is something that you see in very, very particular occasions and definitely not very often
